Back after a Hiatus
Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I posted any updates on here, but’s that’s not because of laziness or lack of progress on my part. I wanted to go on several trips to get new shots to add to the site and hopefully hone my skills as a shooter and editor both, which for the most part went very well. Two trips to the American west/southwest came first, and though the first one that focused on the National Parks went spectacularly, the second, which focused more on San Francisco and Yosemite National Park, wasn’t quite as smooth. The weather and lighting conditions didn’t cooperate the whole trip and because of mistakes on my part, I didn’t get nearly as many good shots as I wanted. Still, learning experience.
That was all in 2024. The following year came trips to France (spring) and Romania (fall), the latter of which I’m still compiling and editing images from, so none will appear here just yet. Both trips went fantastically, and I’m really happy with some of the shots I was able to get. Combine them with continuing content from my volunteer gig at Howling Woods Farm in New Jersey and you get the vast majority of the new shots I’ve now added to the site for you all to see! I’ve updated most of the pages with new images and deleted a few old ones I felt no longer were up to snuff. There’s still work to do on improving this site for sure, but I’m really looking forward to getting even more great shots on here and replacing ones that maybe have outlived their usefulness. That’s part of building a portfolio.
Finally, you’ll notice on the new images that I have a new signature/watermark that I’m using. That’s something that I’ve wanted to implement forever now and was never happy with anything I tried. This one I love though, and I’m currently in the process of replacing the old watermark that had just my name (or had nothing at all) with the new one for uniformity. I think it looks much more professional and that’s something I’m very pleased with.
So, check out the new stuff and I hope you all like what you see! If you have any suggestions, please let me know! I’m always open to new techniques or ways of doing things!
